ICT's Tool Review: Lyrics Training

Lyrics Training is a web page that you can use in your classrooms, as a creative way to improve in vocabulary, writing and listening skills, in English or any language you want to learn. It uses popular songs to motivate students to get interested in the language acquisition learning. 

      Lyrics Training is a relevant tool because it  is a very simple way to make students to get involved with the English class. The music rankings gets updated almost every day, so is this tool, with the help of its participants. 

      Also, through music, you can make your students to practice listening (in the moment they are trying to listen to the words), writing (when they have to put the correct words in the blank spaces), and also vocabulary because, when they do not know a word, they can look for it. 

      The best part is that it is not aimed just for one age group. It has songs for teenagers, like Ed Sheeran or Ariana Grande who are very popular artists; and songs for children, like "Let It Go" from Frozen. 

      The only limitations I can see about using this particular tool in the classroom is that, sometimes, the school does not have a good internet connection (or even any), so we could not use it comfortably. In any other case, this is a perfect tool to keep your students motivated.
