ICT's Tool Review: Duolingo

Duolingo (https://es.duolingo.com/) is a web platform you can use to learn English by yourself. It gives you points as a prize, everytime you answer something well. 
It gives you a daily goal to achieve and earn double points, everytime you arrive the next level, or when you answer something correct. 

Gamification and Grammar Translation Method are the basis of this tool. Everything is presented as a game, by using different activities; and you use GTM when you have to translate the word or phrases from English into Spanish. It does not mean it is not useful because, even when being that traditional, it can help students improve on the four skills: Reading, Speaking, Listening and Writing.

The limitation I see is that the GTM is an old-fashioned method. I used, it should be because you want to practice English.
